Q: Has bullying gotten better or worse this year compared to last year? How? A: "I would say it's probably the same. It's just getting the kids to understand that they need to bring it to our attention. So it's awareness more than anything else. If we're aware of it we can put things in place to stop it.
Q: "Is bullying wose in boys or girls? Why do you think that?" A: "It's not so much one or the other. We have more issues with facebook and texting then we do with the boys and girls. It's never face to face anymore it's what is said or facebook or texting or technology."

A: "Verbal a 100 times because anybody can log onto facebook and nobody can see them or hear them and you can look at text and look at facebook and you can read tone and expression in the way somebody types something out which is always not the fact."
Q: "What could the student body do to help stop bullying at Northwest High School?" A: "Make sure that they are aware that there are different forms of bullying. We are looking to bring Cincinnati Bell in to talk about facebook and cyber bullying and texting. Once OGTs are over after spring break so we can bring awareness to it but they have to bring it to somebodies attention. If it is brought to somebodies attention than something can be done about it."
Q: "What grade does bullying happen the most in high school? Why do you think that?" A: "There is no specific grade. It is all four. You want to think it is freshman, sophomores, and juniors, but I have seniors with just as many issues. Anybody who has facebook basically or texting is where we get most of our bullying."

Q: "Is verbal or physical bullying worse in your opinion? Why?" A: "Physical can be worse because of injury, but some of the verbal bullying that has happened recently has led to suicide or suicide attempts. So verbal is worse because it's harder to control."
